This little project will help you focus on praying for your sweetheart! Start by setting out a square piece of paper for folding. I used paper that was red on the front and white on the back! Pray for that special someone, then write what you prayed about for them onto the back of the paper. You can write it generically, or do what I did and write down the prayer as you're speaking. Last, fold the paper into a heart shape. Of course you don't have to do a heart. You can fold a paper airplane or a crane, or any number of other shapes, but hearts are really simple and cute! You will now have a nice way to show that you were praying for them! You can do this project over the course of a week or a month and share a collection of hearts if you'd like!
Have fun, and may God bless you both!

What if the two of you could make a date out of cute and fun ideas, and of good deeds? When you do something good for someone else, you feel good. When you're able to share in that giving experience with the love of your life, you'll both feel great!
To start things off, sit together and make a list of all the deeds you want to do in a day, then let the date commence! Here are some ideas which you could pack into one day:
After you're all done, share your favorite experience from the date with one another! Ready for autumn? Why not go to a pumpkin patch? You can go to the patch for a hayride, pop by some stands to look at fall decor, and enjoy whatever else they might have set up. You and your loved one can pick out pumpkins or gourds to carve or paint once you get back from the venture! What you carve or paint is completely up to you!
No patch? No problem! Lots of places have fall festivals, but even if those aren't an option where you live you can still go out together to stores and make a fall party for two! (They do sell pumpkins all over the place, after all!) Make a list of activities you two might enjoy doing, such as
You can also take some beautiful photos together when the tree leaves change colors! Have fun together this autumn! It's time to give them a day of bliss! When you're passionate about something, you're willing to invest in it.
Even those clinging to every penny have things they're willing to spend money on. (Trust me, I know.) With that in mind, when was the last time you really poured your money into the love of your life? I don't mean as a regular purchase, I'm talking about an investment with passion! Here's the idea: Take a few months and set aside as much money as you possibly can, then pick a day, preferably one in which your special someone doesn't expect anything (so in other words, not a birthday or holiday,) and lavish them with as many things that you can in that one day! The more things they love that you can fit in, the better! Is there a particular restaurant they love to eat at? Take them out for dinner there! Do they prefer to stay home? Order a pizza or cook their favorite meal! Do they just prefer spending time with you doing something together? Then go invest in things to enhance that time together! While you're saving be sure to listen for any little thing they mention that they want. We all have little things here and there that we like the idea of having but won't get for ourselves. If you pay attention, you might be able to surprise them with all of those desires! (Or at least a few!) The goal of this date is to Lavish them with your love and make the day all about them! Aim not just to please, but to completely overwhelm! |
